The Appalachian Regional Port is a 42-acre inland rail terminal run by the Georgia Ports Authority and served by CSX. It gives a direct 388-mile rail link to Savannah's Garden City Terminal.

Imports unloaded from containers often land as many pallets of few SKUs. Drive-in lanes hold those runs deep and close together.

Export loads build the same way in reverse. Staging lanes in front of drive-in blocks let you assemble a full container before it ships.

Rolls need support along their full length. We set cantilever arm spacing to roll length and size arms to roll weight.

Boom and carpet-pole trucks need more room than forks. We confirm the attachment before setting aisle width.

Container loads come in fast and leave in batches. An open staging lane in front of drive-in blocks lets crews count and label before loads go deep.

We size staging to a full container's worth of pallets. Too small and pallets end up in aisles; too big and storage suffers.

Outbound loads use the same lane in reverse, built up before the trailer backs in.

Murray South Industrial Park is GRAD-certified, with just under 500 acres left, about 12 miles from the inland port. New construction there can be planned for rack from day one.

Existing space includes a 130,000 sq ft facility on Hwy 225 N with 24 ft clear. That fits three or four levels of selective pallet rack for boxed flooring and supplies.

I-75 runs about 15 miles through Murray County, with US-76 and US-411 as the main routes. Plants here ship by truck and rail, so docks and rail doors both need clear staging.
