Some of the buildings that house it are unusually tall. That combination calls for roll storage at the low end and very tall pallet racks above. (423) 810-5886: 4238105886 ## Using 40 to 50 ft Ceilings The 1762 Industrial Center on Goosepond Drive has about 1.1 million sq ft with 40 to 50 ft ceilings, 1.8 miles from four-lane US-72. Height like that is wasted with standard reach trucks alone. Very-narrow-aisle selective pallet rack (https://chattanoogapalletrack.com/products/pallet-rack) served by turret trucks can reach much higher and runs much narrower aisles. We draw a VNA plan and a conventional plan side by side so you can weigh position count against truck choice. Cantilever rack (https://chattanoogapalletrack.com/products/cantilever-rack) or roll racking supports them along their length. Hardwood flooring ships in dense boxed pallets. Heavy beams sized to the load keep those safe at height. - Roll rack for backing and rug stock - Heavy beams for hardwood pallets - VNA in the tallest bays ## Guidance and Safety in Tall VNA Aisles Very-narrow aisles need guidance. Rail or wire guidance keeps turret trucks centered so racks are not struck at height. Entry points at aisle ends get guarding and clear marking. Pedestrians stay out of VNA aisles while trucks work. These details go on the CAD drawing with the rack, so the full system is planned together. Tall rows also need flue space and level loads, so pallet overhang rules are part of what we hand over. ## Jackson County Industrial Park The Jackson County Industrial Park in neighboring Hollywood, about 295 to 311 acres, is an Alabama Advantage Site on US-72. Jackson County is served by CSX, Norfolk Southern and the Sequatchie Valley Railroad. I-24, I-59, I-565, I-65 and I-75 are all within an hour. ## Moving Into Tall Space A company moving from a lower building can bring its rack and add taller frames. Our warehouse relocation (https://chattanoogapalletrack.com/warehouse-relocation) team handles the move. ## Starting a Scottsboro Plan Send building plans with clear height, roll sizes and pallet weights, and tell us which trucks you run or plan to buy. We draw VNA and conventional options side by side with roll storage zoned in, so you can compare position counts directly. 1762 Industrial Center and Jackson County park buildings can be planned from shell drawings. Installs are phased around production. Every bay is capacity-labeled at the end. ## Plan a Scottsboro Layout Call (423) 810-5886 (4238105886) or send the form. ## Scottsboro Tall Storage FAQs ### Is VNA the only way to use a 45 ft ceiling? ### Can roll rack and tall pallet rack share a building? ### Can we reuse rack from a lower building? ### Do VNA aisles need guidance? ### Can bath rug cartons go on carton flow? ## Nearby Towns Fort Payne, AL: https://chattanoogapalletrack.com/service-area/fort-payne Jasper, TN: https://chattanoogapalletrack.com/service-area/jasper Kimball, TN: https://chattanoogapalletrack.com/service-area/kimball Trenton, GA: https://chattanoogapalletrack.com/service-area/trenton All Service Areas: https://chattanoogapalletrack.com/service-area ## Tall Building in Scottsboro?
